The estimated populations of this specie in wild are very low and are red listed by IUCN as critically endangered species. Shukavana rehabilitates disabled birds and also conserves endangered species and one of the bird lovers came forward to join Leo as part of Shukavana which is captive bred in India. Leo was 6 months old chick when it came to Shukavana. Leo is a very friendly bird and interacts well with other birds at Shukavana. Leo is one of Sri Swamiji's favorite few birds. Leo loves to receive pampering from Sri Swamiji.
